Vibes Handpan Oil

VIBES Handpan Oil by SHINETIME is the first holistic care solution designed for the modern percussionist. Whether you play nitrided steel or modern stainless, VIBES offers a professional-grade playing surface that sanitises your instrument and nourishes your skin. Crafted from 100% plant-based ingredients, it honours the steel, the sound, and the hands that play it.

• The “Zero-Drag” Playing Experience: For modern stainless and Ember steel, sweat can create friction. VIBES creates a silky, fast-action surface that allows your hands to glide effortlessly, reducing the “slap” sound of sticky fingers.
• Bio-Safe Skin & Steel Care: You absorb what you touch. Formulated without petroleum or heavy synthetics, VIBES acts as a protective barrier for your instrument and a nourishing conditioner for your hands.
• Acoustic Clarity: Heavy synthetic greases can muffle high frequencies. Our lightweight, volatile formula cleans the surface of grime and sweat oils, restoring the crisp, crystal-clear resonance of your shells.
• Hygienic Performance: Handpans collect sweat, salts, and skin oils. VIBES contains natural antibacterial properties to sanitise the playing surface, keeping your session fresh and odour-free.
• Legacy Protection: For owners of nitrided and raw steel pans, our formula provides the ultimate shield against oxidation, proven by our rigorous coastal endurance tests.

The “9-Month Coastal Test”: Validated by Nature
To ensure stability, we didn’t just test for rust; we tested for endurance. In a 270-day exposure test on the Australian coast, VIBES (Compound #6) proved it does not gum up, does not turn rancid, and does not degrade—unlike other natural oils. It remains stable, hygienic, and smooth, ensuring your instrument is always stage-ready.
